PANTONE
Colour reference charts that all designers use to specify colours to printers.
PROOF
A representation of the finished image before print commences.
BLEED
The part of a design that goes beyond the page boundary, so when cut to size, the ink goes to the edge of the material.
CMYK
Cyan, Magenta, Yellow and Black, the four colours used for full colour printing. Mixing varying percentages of these together produces a full spectrum of colour.
